I have extensive experience in drafting and reviewing all manner of business contracts. The best way to head off future legal problems is a careful drafting of contract duties and responsibilities, and this is our goal.
I have a particular interest and experience in government contracts law, and am a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the Tidewater Association of Service Contractors, and the Tidewater Government Industry Council. Each of these groups deal with defense industry and government service providers. I attend many of their educational and training sessions, which include government contract bidding, award, and protest procedures.
In addition, I have devoted substantial time to admiralty and maritime legal and business issues, including the laws relating to import/export of goods and services including regulations pertaining to the International Transportation In Arms (ITAR).
